Izifundo kwabaseRoma. AmaKrestu nabaphathi bezwe. AmaRom. 13. 1-14

 

Siza kwesesibili isahluko sokuyala kwabaseRoma, isahluko 13. Lesahluko siqukethe okubaluleke ukudlula konke okunye, okunganakwa kulencwadi yamaRoma iphelele. Ngaphambi kokumosha isikhathi sizoqhubeka sifunde:-

Akube yilowo nalowo azithobe phansi kwamandla ombuso, ngokuba akukho mandla ombuso angaveli kuNkulunkulu; lawa akhona amiswe nguNkulunkulu. Ngakho-ke omelana namandla ombuso umelana nesimiso sikaNkulunkulu; kepha abamelana nakho bayakwamukeliswa ukulahlwa. Ngokuba ababusi abesabeki kwabenza okuhle, kodwa kwabenza okubi. Kepha uyathanda yini ukungesabi amandla ombuso na? Yenza okuhle, uyakubongwa yiwo; ngokuba uyisikhonzi sikaNkulunkulu, kube kuhle kuwe. Kepha uma wenza okubi, yesaba; ngokuba awuyiphatheli ize inkemba; ngokuba uyisikhonzi sikaNkulunkulu, umphindiseli wokwehlisela ulaka kowenza okubi.  Ngalokho kuswelekile ukuwuthobela, kungabi kuphela ngenxa yolaka kodwa nangenxa kanembeza. Ngokuba ngenxa yalokho nikhipha intela; ngokuba bayizikhonzi zikaNkulunkulu ezikhuthalela khona lokho. Nikani bonke okubafaneleyo: intela kofanele intela, inkokhiso kofanele inkokhiso, ukwesaba kofanele ukwesatshwa, udumo kofanele udumo. Ningabi nacala lani nakubani, kuphela elokuthandana; ngokuba othanda omunye uwugcwalisile umthetho. Ngokuba lokhu ukuthi: “Ungaphingi, ungabulali, ungebi, ungafisi,” noma ukhona omunye umyalelo, kuyahlanganiswa kuleli zwi elithi: “Wothanda umakhelwane wakho njengalokhu uzithanda wena.” Uthando alwenzi okubi kumakhelwane; ngakho-ke uthando lungukugcwaliseka komthetho. Yenzani lokhu, njengokuba nazi isikhathi ukuthi sekuyihora lokuba nivuke ebuthongweni; ngokuba manje insindiso isisondele kithi kunaleso sikhathi esaqala ukukholwa ngaso. Ubusuku sebuyaphela, imini isisondele. Ngakho-ke asilahle imisebenzi yobumnyama, sihlome izikhali zokukhanya. Asihambe ngokufaneleyo njengasemini, kungabi ngokuminza nokudakwa, kungabi ngobufebe namanyala, kungabi ngokuxabana nomhawu; kodwa yembathani iNkosi uJesu Kristu, ninganakekeli inyama kuvuswe izinkanuko.

Masifunda lesisahluko kubalulekile ukukhumbula ukuthi lencwadi ibhalelwe abantu abazibiza abalandeli beNkosi. “Kepha uma uthiwa ungumJuda, wethemba umthetho, uzibonga ngoNkulunkulu, 18 wazi intando yakhe, ukhetha okungcono, ungofundisiwe emithethweni,” Rom. 2. 17, 18. futhi "Kanti anazi yini, bazalwane, ngokuba ngikhuluma kwabawazi umthetho, Rom. 7. 1.  Inxenye yokugcina yesahluko itshengisa into efanayo. Ngakho-ke kuyiphutha ukucabanga ukuthi iveze okufanele kwenziwe ngababusi bezwe, noma njengesisekelo sobuholi basemhlabeni, noma ubudlelwano uhulumeni okumele abe nabo nebandla. Manje ngoba ilotshelwe abantu abazibiza amaKrestu, kucacile ukuthi inhloso yaso kungukuveza ukuthi kumele baziphathe kanjani kubabusi bezwe abaphila kulo.

Wonke Amandla avela kuNkulunkulu.- “UNkulunkulu ukhulumile kanye, ngikuzwe kabili ukuthi amandla angakaNkulunkulu.” Ps. 62. 11. "ngokuba akukho mandla ombuso angaveli kuNkulunkulu." Loku kuyiqiniso eliphelele, ngaphandle kwenye into. Umbuso wamaRoma, nangezinsuku zika Nero wa wuthola amandla noma igunya lawo kuNkulunkulu njengalokhu umbuso wamaJuda wawuthola khona nawo ngezinsuku zikaDavida.  Ngesikhathi uPilato etshela uKrestu ukuthi wayenamandla okumbethela noma amkhulule, uKrestu wamphendula ngokuthi “Ngabe awunamandla neze phezu kwami, ukuba awuwanikwanga ngaphezulu.” John 19. 11. Lokhu akuchazi ukuthi isenzo salombuso sasilungile, noma ukuthi uNkulunkulu wayevumelana naso.

Lokhu kuzocaca uma sibuka izigameko zabantu ngabanye. Wonke amandla wabantu avela kuNkulunkulu. Kuyiqiniso kumakrestu kanye nakwabezizwe ukuthi “Ngokuba siphila, sihamba, sikhona kuye,” “ngoba siyinzalo yakhe” Acts 17. 28. Okuyiqiniso ngemibuso kubuye kubeyiqiniso nangomuntu ngamunye, ukuba bagcotshiwe noma bamisiwe nguNkulunkulu. Unecebo ngezimpilo zethu sonke. Kodwa lokhu akumenzi ukuthiabe nesibopho ezenzweni zabo abazenzayo, ngoba phela bekhululekile ukuthi benze noma yini abafuna ukuyenza, kanti bahlubukela icebo lika Nkulunkulu, baphendula izipho zakhe zibe yisiqalekiso. Izipho namadla zabantu abahleka usulu zingezivela kuNkulunkulu njengalezi zamaKrestu akhetha ukuba emkhonze. Kepha akekho ongathi uNkulunkulu uyathokoza noma uvumelana nabantu abahlambalazayo. Ngokufanayo akufanele sicabange ukuthi uvumelana nokwenziwa yimibuso yasezweni ngoba kungena mandla ombuso ongaveli kuye.

"Ukugcotshwa."- Makungabi namunye ocabanga ukuthi legama lichaza ukunikwa amandla negunya lomoya. Alisho lutho ngaphandle kokuthi ukumisa noma ukubeka, esikuthola ku-margin. Igama lesiGreki lapho lisuka khona siluthola encwadini yeZenzo[Acts 28. 23], lapho sifunda khona ukuba amaJuda waseRoma wammisela uPhawule usuku owayezobatshela ngalo ivangeli. Besingasho ukuba “bagcoba” usuku ayezoma ngalo.

UNkulunkulu ongaphezu kwakho konke. -"Amandla ombuso” awekho ngaphezu koPhezuKonke. “ukuhlakanipha namandla kungokwakhe; uyaguqula izikhathi nezinkathi; uyasusa amakhosi, abeke amakhosi.” Dan. 2. 20, 21. Nguyena owabeka uNebukadinesari inkosi yaseBabele, ngaphezu kwemibuso yasemhlabeni yonke (buka Jer. xxvii. 5-8; Dan. 2. 37, 38); Kepha ngesikhathi uNebukadinesari ezinika igunya loPhezukonke, waxoshwa kubantu waya ngasezilwane zasendle, ukuze azi ukuthi “oPhezukonke ubusa imibuso yabantu, ayinike amthandayo.”  Dan. 4. 32.

Ukuphikisa uNkulunkulu.-Ngoba kungena mandla ngaphandle kawakaNkulunkulu, ngakho-ke omelana namandla ombuso umelana nesimiso sikaNkulunkulu; kepha abamelana nakho bayakwamukeliswa ukulahlwa. Lesi kwakuyisixwayiso sokuhlubuka nokuvukela umbuso. NguNkulunkulu kuphela osusa amakhosi aphinde awamise. Ngakho-ke wonke umuntu ozikhiphela amakhosi uzinika ilungelo negunya likaNkulunkulu. Kungathi wazi kangcono kunoNkulunkulu ukuthi umbuso uguqulwe nini. Ngaphandle kokuthi labo abavukela umbuso noma wuphi bengatshengisa isambulo esivela kuNkulunkulu osezulwini esibanika ilungelo lokuba benze abakwenzayo, bamelana noNkulunkulu, ngokuzama ukuchitha uhlelo lwakhe. Bazimisa ngaphambi kukaNkulunkulu.

Ukumelana noma Ukuchitha.- Ukumelana negunya lombuso kufana nokuchitha lowo mbuso. Lo ophikisana negunya ngamandla angalichitha uma enamandla. Lokhu abalandeli bakaKrestu banqatshelwe ukuba bakwenze.

Isibonelo sikaKrestu.- “enishiyela isibonelo sokuba nilandele ezinyathelweni zakhe. “Ongenzanga isono, akufunyanwanga nankohliso emlonyeni wakhe,” owathi ethukwa, akaphindisanga athuke; ehlushwa akasongelanga kepha wakunikela kuye owahlulela ngokulunga.” 1 Pet. 2. 21-23. Kubalulekile ukuba sikhumbule ukuthi uKrestu walahlwa ngenxa yecala lwezepolotiki, ngenxa yezizathu zepolotiki, kepha akaphikisanga noma emelane nababusi. Bheka kuJohane 18. 5-11; Matt. 26. 51-53. Abanye sebangathi uKrestu wayesazi ukuba isikhathi sakhe sasifikile. Yiqiniso; kodwa akaphikisanga nangezinkathi ezidlule. Wayezinikela njalo esandleni sikaBaba. Lesi yisibonela kubalandeli bakhe. Uma bezithoba esandleni sikaNkulunkulu, abazukwehlelwa yinto uNkulunkulu angavumanga ukuba ibehlele noma angayimisanga ukuba yenzeke kubo. Akukho nto engabehlela kungekafika ihora labo. Kulula kabi ukuzibiza okholwa kuKrestu kunokutshengisa inkolo yangempela ngokulandela isibonelo sika Kresu.

Esinye isbonelo esihle.- USawule wayegcotshwe ukuba yinkosi kwa-Israyeli ngokuyala kukaNkulunkulu; kepha emva kwaloku wanqatshelwa ngoba engaziphathanga ngendlela. UDavida wagcotshwa esikhundleni sakhe.  USawule uye waba nesikhwela ngoDavida, wafuna ukuthatha impilo yakhe. UDavida akamphikisanga noma amelane naye, kepha wabaleka. UDavida waba namathuba amaningi ayengenza akufunayo kuSawule, kodwa akazanga waphakamisa isandla sakhe nakanye. Uma kungaba nesizathu sokumelana nomphathi uDavida wayengaba naso. Okwakuqala, uma wayekwenzile sasingathi wayezivikela, okwesibini wayesegcotshiwe ukuba yinkosi endaweni kaSawule. Kepha ngesikhathi enxuselwa ukuba eke evume nje omunye umuntu ebulala uSawule, uDavida wathi: “UDavide wathi ku-Abishayi: “Ungambulali, ngokuba ngubani ongelulela isandla sakhe kogcotshiweyo kaJehova, angabi nacala, na? … Kuphila kukaJehova, uJehova uyakumshaya, noma kufika nje usuku lwakhe lokufa, noma ehlela empini, abhubhe. UJehova makenqabe ukuba ngelulele isandla sami kogcotshiweyo kaJehova.” 1 Sam. 26. 9-11. Nangaphezu kwalokho uSawule wa eyindoda ekhohlakele, eyayilahle uNkulunkulu, ingafanele nokubusa.

Ukuzithoba kuNkulunkulu.- Izwi lika Nkulunkulu lisikhuthaza ukuthi sizithobe kubabusi, kepha alikhuthazi nakancane ukuthi uNkulunkulu angalalelwa. UNkulunkulu akamisanga umbuso namunye ngaphezu kwakhe. Kunguku depha kobuwula bethu uma sicabanga ukuthi singasebenzisa lesisahluko ukuzivikela ukuba kulungile ukuba amaKrestu alalele ababusi bomhlaba nanoma bemelana nomthetho kaNkulunkulu. UNkulunkulu akanikanga imvume yokuphikelela esonweni; akasibizi ukuba sense isono. Akumele sithobele ababusi kunokuthi sithobele uNkulunkulu, kepha ngoba sithobela uNkulunkulu.  Konke enikwenzayo, noma kungezwi noma kungomsebenzi, kwenzeni konke egameni leNkosi uJesu" Col. 3. 17.

Ukuthobela nokulalela.- Esikhathini esiningi ukuthobeka kuchaza ukulalela. Uma sifunda ukuba uJesu wayezithoba kubazali bakhe, sinesiqiniseko sokuthi wayebalalela. Kanjalo nathi uma sinxuswa ukuba sithobele ababusi, singasho ukuthi lokhu kubiza ukuthi silalele imithetho ebekiwe. Kodwa akumele sikhohlwe ukuthi uNkulunkulu ungaphezu kwakho konke; ukuthi amandla wabantu nawezizwe avela kuye; nokuthi unelungelo lokwamukela ukukhonzwa okungahlukaniswa kuwo wonke umuntu. Kwamele silalele uNkulunkulu ngaso sonke isikhathi, siphinde sithobele ababusi ngesikhathi esifanayo kodwa lokhu makungabi ukuthi uNkulunkulu akalalelwa.

Asikwazi ukukhonza amakhosi amabili.- “Akakho ongakhonza amakhosi amabili…Ningekhonze uNkulunkulu noMamona.” Isizathu singokuthi uNkulunkulu noMamona babiza izinto ezimbili eziphikisanayo. Sonke siyazi ukuthi sekuyekwaba nemithetho yabantu eyayimelene nomthetho kaNkulunkulu. Kwakukhona umthetho eMelika ngezinsuku kugcinwa izigqila owawubiza wonke umutnu ukuba enze konke okusemandleni akhe ukuphindisela izigqila ezazibaleka kubabusi bazo. Kepha izwi likaNkulunkulu lalisithi “Unganikeli kumniniso isigqila esibalekile kumniniso seza kuwe.“ Deut. 23. 15. Ngakho-ke kwakungena kwenzeka ukuba umuntu elalele umthetho wezwe ngaphandle kokungalaleli umthetho kaNkulunkulu; kanti ukulalela uNkulunkulu kwakusho ukungalaleli ababusi bezwe. Abantu kwakumele bakhethe ukuba babezolalela bani. Umkrestu akakwazi ukuthi engabaze ngokukhetha kwakhe. Umthetho omelene nomthetho kaNkulunkulu awulutho. “Akukho ukuhlakanipha, akukho ukuqonda, nesiluleko, okungamelana noJehova.” Prov. 21. 30.

"Zonke izimiso zomuntu.”- Mhlambe omunye usengavula u 1 Peter 2. 13 ukuphikisana nalokhu. Ithi “Thobelani izimiso zonke zabantu ngenxa yeNkosi.” Abanye bangathi sifanele ukuthobela zonke izimiso ngaphandle nezimelene  nomthetho kaNkulunkulu. Akukho okunye ngaphandle kwaloku. Levesi alifundisi ukuba silalele imithetho yababusi emelene nomthetho kaNkulunkulu.  Inkinga ivela ngokungaqondi igama elithi “izimiso”. Abaningi bacabanga legama lisho “umthetho” kodwa uma sifunda ngokuqaphela siyathola ukuba lena yimpazamo. Masifundeni amavesi u13 no14 kahle: “Thobelani izimiso[Ngesi Gerike izindalo] zonke zabantu ngenxa yeNkosi, nokuba kuyinkosi njengokuba ingomkhulu.” Manje-ke sithi ziyini lezi zimizo noma izidalwa esifanele ukuba sizithobele? Akukho mehluko; kuzo zonke, “nokuba kungamakhosi, angaphezulu [noma ngabathunywa yiwo], ababusi njengokuba bethunywa yiyo.” Kuyakhanya ukuba ivesi alisho lutho ngemithetho, kepha ngabaphethe. Isikhuthazo ngesifana naleso esifunyanwa kusahluko 13 KwabaseRoma.

Bathobekile kepha bengalaleli.- Sikhuthaza ofundayo ukuba elandele esahlukeni esisando fundwa, uzonaka ukuba ukuthobeka okubizwayo akubizelwa ukulalela imithetho ekholhakele. Siyakhuthazwa ukuba: “Baziseni bonke, nithande abazalwane; mesabeni uNkulunkulu, niyazise inkosi.” Sifanele ukuthobela ubuholi obubekiwe, kungakhathazeki ukuba umphathi walelo gunya ulungile noma umnene, noma engodukile. Bese kuza lawa mazwi, “Ngokuba kuyabongeka lokho, uma umuntu ngenxa kanembeza ngakuNkulunkulu ethwala izinsizi, ehlushwa ngokungafanele.” 1 Peter 2. 17-19. Manje-ke akuna kwenzeka ukuba umuntu ethwale usizi, ehlushwe ngokungafanele ngaphandle kokuthi aphoxeleke ukungalaleli umyalo othile abizwa kuwo. Lawa mazwi, alandela isikhuthazo sokuthobela, abonakalisa ukuthi ukungalaleli sekungakhuthazeka uma labo ababusayo “beduke”. Lokhu kugcizelelwe empilweni kaKrestu, owahlushwa engafenele, kepha akanqabanga noma waphindisela. “Yacindezelwa, kepha noma yathotshiswa, ayivulanga umlomo wayo; njengewundlu eliyiswa ekuhlatshweni, nanjengemvu ethule phambi kwabagundi bayo, ayiwuvulanga umlomo wayo.” Isa. 53. 7. Wagwetshwa walahlwa ngenxa yokwethembeka kwakhe eqinisweni, ngesikhathi esifanyo wayethobela ababusi. Umphostile uthi kulokhu usishiyele isibonelo, ukuba silandele ezinyathelweni zakhe.

AmaKrestu nababusi bezwe.- “Kepha thina singabombuso wasezulwini, lapho futhi silindela khona ukuba kuvele uMsindisi, iNkosi uJesu Kristu,” Phil. 3. 20. Labo abanelungelo ngoKrestu lokuya kuBaba ngoMoya omunye “abaseyibo abafokazi nezihambi, kodwa sebangumbuso munye nabangcwele, bangabendlu kaNkulunkulu,” Eph. 2. 19. Yilowo nalowo makazicabange ngezindaba zezwe lakubo, hayi ngezindaba zamanye amazwe. Ukuba umuntu waseMelika eze eNingizimu Aflika athathe isikhundla efundise epalamende ngendlela ephatha ngabo ubuholi, noma umuntu waseNingizimu asuke aye kwelaseMelika azihlukanise noma ezibonakalise ngeseluleko sakhe kubabusi, kungaba ngukuphakama kobuwula. Kodwa uma bengaqala ukuxokozela ekuphatheni kwezindaba zesizwe noma urhulumende, noma beme ehovisi, masinya nje bazokhomba abangene ngawo umnyango. Mabaqale bajwayeleke , bese sebangaqala ukukhuluma benze abakuthandayo; kodwa lokhu kuchaza ukuthi kuzomele bethule uma bephindela ezweni abavela kulo ngaphambilini. Akekho umuntu ongasebenza ezindabeni zorhulumende ababili ngesikhathi esisodwa.

Lokhu kuyiqiniso embusweni wasezulwini nowasemhlabeni, nakuzo zonke izizwe ezise mhlabeni. Lowo osengumbuso munye nabangcwele akana lungelo lokubhekana nezindaba zabarhulumende basemhlabeni. Ufanele ashiye lokho kulabo ababiza lomhlaba ikhaya labo. Uma ababusi bezwe becabanga ukusekela izindaba zombuso kaNkulunkulu, basuka benecala elikhulu. Kodwa uma bengena lungelo lokuzibandakanya ezindabeni zombuso kaNkulunkulu, kanjalo nabombuso munye nabangcwele abana lungelo lokuzibandakanya nezindaba zalelizwe.

Ukwenza uMhlaba iZulu.-AmaKrestu amaningi nabefundisi bevangeli bazama ukwenza ukuba izibhalo zimelane nabo nokusebenza kwezombusazwe bethi kungumsebenzi wabo wokuguqula lelizwe libe ngumbuso kaNkulunkulu. Umkhankaso osanda kubakhona sizwile okuningi ngokwenza “iMelika ibenkulu futhi” noma “ukwenza iMelika izwe likaNkulunkulu futhi.” Konke lokhu kutshengisa ukunga qondi ukuba liyini naIvangeli. “Lingamandla kaNkulunkulu ukuya ensindisweni kulowo nalowo okholwalyo.” Rom. 1. 16. Ukuzalwa kabusha kuza kuphela ngoMoya oyingcwele usebenza ezinhliziyweni zabantu ngabanye ngabanye, kanti awukwazi ukulawulwa ngumuntu. Imibuso yalelizwe  iyakuba yimibuso kaKrestu, kepha “Ukushisekela kukaJehova Sebawoti kuyakwenza lokhu.” Rev. 11. 15; Isa. 9. 7. Kusazoba nezwe Elisha, lapho khona kuzohlala ukulunga kodwa, kepha lokhu kuzokwenzeka uma kufika usuku lokuza kweNkosi, inikwa ubukhosi [Dan 7.13] lapho khona amazulu eyakudlula ngokuhlokoma; kuyakusha konke, kubhidlike; nomhlaba nemisebenzi yawo [emibi] kuyakusha. 2 Peter 3. 10-13. Akuyikufika lokhu ngemikhankaso yezepolitiki, nanoma abefundisi bevangeli bezenza ababusi. Abefundisi bevangeli banikezwe uthumo lunye, ukuba, “beshumayele izwi.” Ayikho enye indlela lapho khona abantu bengenziwa baguquke. Ngakho-ke umfundisi obambelela kwezombusazwe uphika ubizo lwakhe.

Ukugcina ukuthula.- Sifanele ukuba sithobela ababusi bezwe ngenxa yesazela sethu; ngenxa yesizathu esifanayo simele sibhatale intela, sense yonke imisebenzi yethu eyaloluhloba esiyibizelwe. Sekungenzeka ukuba intela ibenzima, sekungenzeka ibe ngengalungile kodwa lokhu akusiniki lungelo lokuvukela noma sihlubuke. Umphostile uJakobe ukhuhluma nezicebi ezihlukumeza abampofu, amazwi akhe anesisindo kulabo uma basehhovisini lomphakathi njengalapho basezimpilweni zabo futhi. Uthi yena: “ Nibusile emhlabeni, natamasa; ninonisile izinhliziyo zenu ngosuku lokuhlaba. Nilahlile, nabulala olungileyo; akamelani nani.  James 5. 5, 6. Qhaphela njalo, olungileyo akamelani nabo. Yingani na? ngenxa yezwi elimelane naye elithi: “uma kungenzeka, ngokwenu hlalisanani ngokuthula nabantu bonke; ningaziphindiseli nina bathandwa, kodwa dedelani ulaka, ngokuba kulotshiwe ukuthi: “Ngokwami ukuphindisela, ngiyakubuyisela mina,” isho iNkosi.” Rom. 12. 18, 19. Njengezikhonzi zeNkosi yoKuthula, izakhamuzi zombuso wakhe, kulindelekile ukuba bahlalisane ngokuthula nawo wonke umuntu. Ngenxa yalokho abakwazi kulwa, ngizo noma bezivikela bona. Kulokhu uKrestu iNkosi yokuthula uyisibonela sabo.

Basabeka kubani na.- Ngabenzi bobubi kuphela abesaba ababusi. Abenza kahle abana kwesaba. Lokhu akunjalo ngoba bonke ababusi belungile; ngoba siyazi ukuba abaningi babo abalungile neze. “Umbuso obanzi weRoma wagcwala umhlaba wonke,” kanti owayephethe ngesikhathi uPhawule ebhala incwadi yakhe kwabaseRoma wayekhohlakele ehlukumeza kakhulu kunazo zonke izilo ezazibusa. UNero wayebulala abantu nje ukuzijabulisa. Wayengaletha ukwesaba ezinhliziyweni zabantu; kepha amaKrestu wayengaba nokuzola, ngoba ithemba labo likuNkulunkulu. “Bheka, uNkulunkulu uyinsindiso yami; nginethemba, angisabi.” Isa. 12. 2.

Umsebenzi ophelele womuntu.-" Ningabi nacala lani nakubani, kuphela elokuthandana; ngokuba othanda omunye uwugcwalisile umthetho.” “Uthando alwenzi okubi kumakhelwane; ngakho-ke uthando lungukugcwaliseka komthetho.” “uthando luvela kuNkulunkulu, nabo bonke abathandayo bazelwe nguNkulunkulu, bayamazi uNkulunkulu.” 1 John 4. 7. Ngakho-ke, ngoba othanda umakhelwane wakhe ngenhliziyo yakhe, kwamele ethande uNkulunkulu, kanti ukuthanda kungukugcina imiyalo yakhe, kucacile ukuba umphostile uveza kulenkuthazo umsebenzi ophelele womuntu. Wonke olalela lesisikhuthazo angenze lutho elingamenza ukuba ababusi bezwe bamlahle noma bagwebe, nanoma engazi imithetho yabo. Yilowo nalowo ogcwalisisa umthetho wothando akasoze azithole emelana nababusi. Uma bemhlukumeza, abalwi naye kepha balwa neNkosi angumkhonzi wayo.

NgeyamaKrestu, hayi ababusi.- Abanye bathi amavesi aqala ngo8 kuya ku10 aveza umkhawulo wegunya lomphakathi, baqhubeke ngokuthi abantu bengenza umthetho mayelana “netafula lesibini lomthetho,” kodwa hayi ngeminye imithetho kaNkulunkulu ngaphandle kwalena. Uma singathi sikhumbule izinto ezimbili sizobona ukuba leli liyiphutha. 1. Incwadi ayilotshelwanga ababusi, kepha ibhalelwe amalungu webandla, ukuba iqondise ukuziphatha kwabo. Uma kwakubhalwe umthwalo wababusi, lencwadi yayizoqondiswa kubo hayi abazalwane. 2. “Umthetho ungowomoya,” ngakho-ke akukho ngxenye yawo engabekwa ngumuntu. Ukwenza isibonela, thatha othi, “ungafisi” akukho umuntu ungenza uba ugcinwe, noma ongabona nanoma sewuphuliwe. Kepha lona ngowodwa nje, injalo ingeyekamoya yonke. Incwadi ibhalelwe abazalwane, kanti se igoqwa naku ekushoyo: phila othandweni, awusoze wenze omunye umuntu kabi, kanti ungadinge ukuba novalo ngenxa yababusi.

Ukuphela sekusondele.- Inxenye esele yesahluko inikelwe ukunxuseni okungadingi kutolikwa. Bembethe uKrestu.- Labo abembethe uKrestu abazukubonwa. UKrestu kuphela nguye ozovela. Ukunakekela inyama kuvuswe izinkanuko akudingeki, ngoba phela inyama hlezi ifuna ukweneliswa. UmKrestu umele aqaphele ukuba ingabusi, iphathe ilawule. Inyama ilawula uma ingaphansi kukaKrestu kuphela. Yilowo obethelwe noKrestu ongathi, “ngiyaphila, kepha hayi mina, kodwa ukuphila engikuphilayo kalokhu enyameni ngikuphila ngokukholwa, okungukukholwa [kwe]Ndodana kaNkulunkulu eyangithandayo, yazinikela ngenxa yami.” Gal. 2. 20.
